Back to Utah

Catching up.....

Corey and his guys headed back to Utah a few weeks early and are finishing up the summer in Utah. Some of the guys are staying at our house to finish up the summer. I stayed behind with the kids for another week.

I went with my family to Silver Dollar City. Everyone had a great time. The weather man decided to let it ran most of the trip, but we did not let that stop us.

One week later.... My Mom, the kids, and I were so glad to finally reach Utah. The drive to Missouri to Utah is long and monotonous.  The kids really were great considering the long drive. It was hard for me to say goodbye to my family. We will miss not having family so close. At the same time it is nice to be back in my own house. 

Oh let me just say I have my work cut out for me. I was not sure what I would find at my house since it had not been lived in it all summer. This was one of the few sights I had to deal with thanks to hard water. Just think, this is after Corey had tried cleaning it a few times. Then I found the miracle product. A couple of sprays, a couple of minutes soaking, a couple of swishes with the brush, and presto! Its like magic. I have a clean toilet. Even Peyton noticed. "Mom, its clean. Yeah no more yuckies!" he told me while clapping his hands. So Comet is my new friend.

I still have one minor problem. The smoke detectors are all beeping. Despite new batteries and turning the breakers on and off, they continue to beep. So if you have any advice...please we need it. How do you get these things to stop beeping!
