Pirate Week...

Every week we have a theme and activities, crafts, and homework (school time). It helps give Peyton, Annisten, and I soemthing to do during the week (and keeps the little monkey's from running wild in our small little apartment). I always check the internet for free and fun things to do around the area. Last Friday there was pirates at the Riverwalk in Yorktown (So I planned everything around that). We had all kids of pirate fun for the week and topped it off with a trip to meet real pirates.

Right before we left the kids got cold feet about meeting the pirates. So we talked about there are two types of pirates; real, mean pirates and nice pirates that are just pretending. The kids were OK with going as long as the pirates were "pretend."

After Anni had her picture with Blackbeard, she would wavy and give a flirty smile every time she saw Blackbeard.

Peyton did not trust the pirates. He was not sure if they were mean priates or the pretend pirates.
can you blame him....

Busch Garden

This weekend our family and some guys from the Virginia Office went to Busch Gardens's for some adventure. Depsite the heat, every one had a great time. There is so much to do at the park.

The Griffen rollercoast was the biggest hit for the day with the adults.  The kids had a great time exploring all the kid zones as well.

We had such a great time we ended up getting season passes so we could go back for more fun!
