Lowe's: Build & Grow

My Mom found told me about Lowe's Build and Grow workshop for kids. We took Peyton to the workshop for the first time this summer. He absolutely loved it! The entire idea is so cute. The kids get a work apron, goggles, and a kid size hammer. Then they get to hammer away on a little project. For each workshop the kids attend, they receive a patch and certificate for a job well done. Peyton loves going to the workshop. He proudly wears his apron through the store.
The big race car cart, of coarse. Oh how I love to push that thing through the store (lots of sarcasm behind those words).

This time Annisten thought she was old enough to join the workshop. She was more interested in how all the little wood pieces tasted and the sound of the hammer on the table. Of coarse she also had to check out what every one else was doing as well.
Peyton worked so hard on his pumpkin. He wrinkled his face with concentration as he hammered away on the little pieces. Peyton was very proud to show off the finished project.

The kids had such a great time at the Build and Grow workshop that we are going to make this a monthly activity.

Lowe's has moved from Halloween to Christmas decor. So the kids had to go down the isles "oohing" and "ahhing" over everything.

That is so cute. I'm going to check if our lowes does it too. Deakan would love that. Have you planned any vacations for us? We need to get together. Maybe January?
