New Temples Buzzing News
LDS Church plans 5 new temple locations
President Thomas S. Monson surprised thousands of people with the announcements of 5 new temples. There is always excitement with new temple announcements, but this one is more shocking for our family. A temple in Kansas City area. Did I hear this right? Corey heard it too. So I guess I did.
Growing up I remember making at least 9 hour drive to Dallas to go to the temple. Then when the St. Louis temple was announced, everyone was thrilled. Since then there has been a few temple announcements in the area, but all of these temples are about 3 1/2 to 4 hours away from Kansas City. So this is a big deal for my family. Well and not to mention all of the Church history background that goes along with the announcement.
This news has made the local news papers in Kansas City. People are chatting online and giving their guesses as to where the temple will be built. Its all the buzz in KC.

That's a really big deal! Now that we live almost an hour away, I find it such a pain. I know...it's not even that bad. Anyway, I am really glad for your family.

It was a suprise to here from you on our blog. You have such a cute family. Bart and I are still in Logan. He works for an engineering firm here. I teach preschool a couple times a week, and all that other fun mom stuff. I was a great conference huh!Take care-

I know! How totally awesome for your family! My family is still waiting patiently for one to be announces in Arkansas! The drive is a killer.
