This week's adventure was a trip to the Kansas City Zoo. Everyone had a good time. My brother and his family came, Travis, Brekka, and Gwindolyn. The Paynes came as well, Sarah, Drew, and Olivia.
The hippos, seals, and the elephants seemed to be the top picks for group.
All in all we made it through the zoo without any major catastrophes, which for me is amazing.
We had a parade of strollers through the zoo traffic. Actually I think we caused a number of traffic jams.
Uncle Travis told Peyton that Kangaroos don't like little boys who wear pirate tattoos. Peyton covered his up and said "I don't have one." He looked pretty scared that a kangaroos were going to get him. After that he stayed on the rock and didn't dare venture any closer to the kangaroos.
The girls tried their hardest to stay awake, but sleep got the best of them.
By the end of the day I think even the adults were wishing for a nap!

I loved the zoo. I think we took the boys to every zoo across the country when we were traveling. Maybe one day I can have a grandchild and do so again. Leave the parents behind. Loved the pictures....

I love the Kansas CIty Zoo. It's very spread out, so you get a good workout, that's for sure.
You guys have been having alot of fun latley. I love the face painting picture of Peyton, and Annie's laugh is adorable. I'm glad you guys are having a good time~
I love going to the zoo. I'm glad you are by your family. It makes the summer moving experience a lot more fun. Your kids are getting so big. Cute pictures. Hope you guys are doing well.
