Little Garden

I have been waiting to try my hand at gardening. Last year was the first year we had our own house, but I never got around to it. We didn't have grass or dirt- just lots of gravel and rocks. Plus I was pregnant. I told myself, next year. This year we are away from our home for the summer. So I decided to have a little planted pot garden on my apartment balcony. My Mom and I went to a nursery and picked out some fun things to plant a couple of weeks ago.

Peyton was feeling a bit under the weather that day. My Mom gave him a lollipop to help him feel better. Once Annisten saw the lollipop, it was all over. She was tried every trick she knew to get her little hands on that lollipop and away from Peyton. Poor Peyton was getting so upset. Luckily I had a lollipop in my bag. She went absolutely wild over it. Once Anni tasted the lollipop, her arms were shaking she was so excited. Anni was kicking her legs and waving her arms with excitement. At the same time she was squealing and chattering away in delight. It was so cute.



















I decided to plant some herbs, strawberries, and a couple of flowers. Peyton thought he needed his own flowers. His flowers had to be red of coarse. Its Peyton's job to water the flowers every morning. He has his very own watering container. He loves to check on the strawberries and see how they are doing. Much to his surprise we have several growing right now. He is so thrilled.
